Has anyone heard about A course in miracles and?
Q. The new age movement. I saw something on EWTN about a week ago and they were discussing this. They also said that some Catholic Parishes were actually attending these seminars and coming back to the Parishes and teaching some of the philosophies without the Priests knowledge. I would like to know if anyone knows in particular what Catholic parishes are teaching this? Maybe I wasn't clear. It is not that I approve of this course but rather that I am wondering what Parishes have gone off track.

A. Mary Ann, is this what you are looking for? Looks like they use this priest to make it look safe for Catholics. My friend says in his day a fellow student at Loyola University Chicago wrote this book. Isn't that sad? It is a new age book. Unity members don't believe Jesus is God. Many 12 step groups feed Unity with members where there is no judgment, they are way too above that sin and judgment idea. (Chapter 3) I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: I m ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don t accept His claim to be God.
